?? Next Wednesday, April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. Today the Little Stars and Rainbow Room led our whole school assembly.
We spoke to the whole school about the 6 ways that we can all include autistic people in our lives.
Those 6 ways are:
A - Accept people as they are.
U - Understand that everyone is different; and we all have unique gifts and talents.
T - Try to help by teaching others about autism. Talk to friends, family, etc.
I - Include autistic people in what you're doing e.g. games, conversations, activities.
S - Show support by being kind and helpful, especially if someone is feeling anxious.
M - Make friends by showing compassion and kindness.
We have a non uniform day in school on Wednesday so please send your child to school wearing something blue ? ?
