Last Week P1 celebrated Maths Week through our Incy Wincy Spider activities.
- They were counting insects stuck in Incy Wincy's web.
- Looking at numbers on spiders and attaching pegs to match.
- Catching numbered insects with giant spiders.
- Using tweezers to find numbers amongst the critters in the water tray.
- Using sticks and stones to count 8 legs and eight eyes, thinking carefully about where they put the legs (4+4) and thinking about how many more legs/eyes were needed.
