P4 enjoy learning about our P4 topic -Pirates. They learned how to make origami paper boats, and then raced them. The children had to devise ways to make their boats last longer and also to predict how many races their boats would stay buoyant for !
We also talked about the "pirate ship" down in Belfast harbour, just behind the SSE Arena. Some children have been to see it already and we tried to imagine what it must be like, climbing to the top of that rigging on windy days !
